Into season 3 and Reina, Carra, Gerrard, Sissoko, Xabi, Riise and Cisse remain. (can 't get shut of Kewell and Moro). Beslan turned out best of the reserves but never quite made the grade so sold him for £2m.

I only got rid of Jerzy, Josemi, Zendon and Traore and then Inter asked for Xabi, I said I wanted £30m and they said yes so off he went, replaced him with Igor (900k). Arsenal kept sniffing around Risse but my £18m price tag warned them off.

Managed to win the league that season. I'm at Barca now and went back to Liverpool to get Carra, Sissoko (who is brilliant by the way) and Kompany (who I had signed in my 2nd season).

The one's you should keep are Kewell (god help me for saying this but he is very good in this), Crouch (scores 20 a season), Nando (also scores 20 a season), Cisse (scores 30 a season), Carson (a few years on loan and he turns out ace and Englands no1), Sissoko (was man of the match 17 times in one season, even kept Gerrard out at times), Warnock (hard as nails but does get sent off a few times), Carra (legend) and Pongy (super sub).

also season 3, and only got momo (who I agree is excellent), gerrard and carra left. in the meantime, I have discovered the best player in the entire game - no word of a lie. his name is anderson & he plays left wing for porto. cost £15m and he's only 19, but the fans went mad when I bought him, and every month for the past 3 months he's won player of the month & young player of the month, and got an average of like 8.9. I catch myself just thinking about him in meetings sometimes.
