Ah have you tried Tsartis the greek guy but he might prove a stumbling block with wages. I had Albertini with Reading and he was the only player averaging above 8.00 in a team that was languishing in the bottom three all season. If you can get him he will make a differenece. i had in DMC and gave all the creative freedom he wanted and made him captain and got so much in return from the bloke.
As you are St Mirren I suspect you will have trouble signing anybody with any class, no disrespect to St Mirren as I have an emotional attachment to them because my auntie lives in Paisley and I went to watch them win the Scottish cup in '8 when they beat the mighy Dundee United. ( just covered myself there in case of any abuse thrown at me phew!)
