that's the best swearing I've seen for a long while. good work. just downloaded the demo & I think it must be true that you have to work your way up to managing a big club, as every single cunt I've been trying to buy, with the singular exception of the temperamental defensive lynchpin that is anthony vanden borre has been telling me to piss off. I take it this means the precious little souls don't think I'm experienced enough to manage them.

no kaka for me then. cunts.

Re: FM....

I managed to sign 3 players since taking over. 7m splashed on hofland, 1.9m on riordan and 2m for this useless sack of turd i signed from malaga called abel.... what is it with players from malaga being total shite?

Sold the Dude to boro, tryin to cast off josemi and traore atm. josemi is training like a fairy and traore is just complete pants

the sumo one has just come back and he has all the pace of a goldfish so he needs to do some more training. Other than that everything is going peachy. Cisse has 13 goals in 16 games, we are sitting 6th with two games in hand, cant buy a win in Europe though. Drawn against Juve lille and Ajax.

Got the bitters next so bring it on!

I have just had a recent war of words with Slur. the C*** tried his mind games with me so I slagged him off. Carra, Torres, Stevie Me, Alonso and Guarin all backed me up and we beat them 4-1 with Cisse getting a hat-trick.

Had the same issue with Gollum so I did the same slagged him off but for some strange reason had the shittest game of the season at the most imprtant time and lost 6-1 and also the title to the Chavs. I nearly had to purchase a new PC

Re: FM....

Haven't gone Liverpool yet (since I played the first CM in '97 I have always tried to earn the job rather than start straight off) but started a game with Newcastle last night and the new features are fantastic. Team talk is quality, media options are better and the training is a lot easier to set up. Another realistic option is players wanting money from you to move, an example being.... Wanted to sell Bowyer to bring wage bill down (also had Solano and Dyer for the right hand side). Wolves were the only team to put a bid in but only offered him £15k a week, Bowyer is on £40k a week with me. Although I'm still paying him £25k a week, I'm still saving money where as in the past it would have ate away at the wage bill.

Re: FM....

Whilst walking back to Putney Fucking Shithole Bridge train station after Saturdays game I thought the first thing I would do when I got back home was to see how Liverpool v Fulham would pan out on Football Manager 2006. After a few hours the game came up on the fixtures so I played the same starting 11 and did the same subs that Rafa did and played the same formation, all that shit, only difference was I won 4-0 with Nando getting 3, I wish we all lived in a Champ Manager world.

Re: FM....

The update was quick, don;'t they beta test. Loaded mine today and the bugger ate some memory, tho I was using a big database and had P2P running in the background.

Now to find the wonderkids. Made my first stop Anderlecht to pick up Kompany and Van Borre.

Re: FM....

Hmm... Liverpool just bought Fernando Torres for £46.5m in the start of the second season. Has Rafa won the national lottery jackpot or something? Here's hoping the same thing happens in real life... yeah right.

Re: FM....

I bought Marek Mintal for £6m. Scored 4 in his debut!

BTW what is it with those teams loaning players from you for the 3 summer months? And why does some of my players moan about my match day pep talk, when I've outsourced that bit to Pako? Maybe the update can fix that.

Re: FM....

yeah the patch does fix that moaning about the match day talk, they always used to regardless of who delivered it, basically your assistant manager to do the match day talk well he has to be good at man management and motivation

Personally I just beat the mancs 2-1, i am struggling with formations though, this one is a hell of a lot more in depth and you have to tinker a lot to get the right blend

Re: FM....

Started yesterday on Forest; they are already £10K over thier wage budget and want me to win the league...alrighty then!!

I reckon the training looks a lot better but have only played a couple of friendlies so haven't seen the progress yet. I like the half-time and full time team talks, very good addition.

Re: FM....

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find the full list of what the latest patch has to offer? I'm too lazy to look myself, but think I'll download it before starting a proper game.

Re: FM....

am going well in the first season, playing 3-4-1-2, all out attack at home with total creative freedom!!! Cisse and Nando were scoring for fun but now both injured!! notable results, Champions league, beat Porto 6-4 and Premier league beat Boro away 5-1!! sitting 4th in the league with two games in hand and have offloaded Josemi for £4m!!! had a major fall out with Garcia though!

Started a new game with Forest today Stu and have got to end of September before I saved it, doing ok, third in the league two points off the top. Not been able to spend any money and can't get the main wage eaters (Johnson and Taylor) out at the min. Managed to get Sebastian Larsson from Arsenal on a years loan and he is doing well, very versatile. Only really had one big defeat, got beat 3-0 at Brentford. How you doing on it?

Second in the league and currently in December. Got Dobie and Dado up front and they work well. Also signed a Bosnian guy called Demirovic(sp?) who plays midfield left/central and ends up covering for the constantly injured Commons.

They have some decent 20 year old that I use to rotate a bit but never really start regularly. Beaumont, Morgan, the right back who can play in midfield etc.
