Introducing the TLW team

DAVE USHER - Editor.

Dave's first game was against Aston Villa in 1981, and he has been a season ticket holder since 1990, initially in the Kemlyn Road before moving to the Main Stand in 1994. Founded TLW in the summer of 1999 after becoming sick of having to do real work.

CHRIS SMITH

Pontesbury born Chris was a big part of TLW in the early days, before having to stop contributing due to landing a job in the press. Having quit that job now, he's back on board at TLW. Chris' first game was in 1989 when the reds drew 0-0 with the mancs.

STEVE HORTON

TLW's resident historian and stat man, Steve is also responsible for the brilliant 'Britain's Bitterest'. A season ticket holder from Old Swan who rarely misses a game home or away, Steve's first game at Anfield was Tommy Smith's testimonial game in 1977, 2 days after the European Cup win in Rome.

PETER SCHULZ

Known as 'Daytripper' or 'DT' on the TLW forums, Peter is part of the TLW caption team, and is also an occasional writer for the fanzine. A Danish red, Peter is also involved with the Danish Liverpool fanzine.

JOHN GALLAGHER

John can be found selling the fanzine at pretty much every home and away game. When it comes to knowing stuff about the reds, John is right up there with Steve Horton. A fanatical and well travelled red.

STU MONTAGU

Stu is responsible for many of the captions in the fanzine, and is also a regular writer. He lives in enemy territory (Altrincham) and loves trains, but other than that he's a good lad. He started going to Anfield regularly in 1989, and his favourite player back then was Stevie Nicol.

LAGE BOHREN

Known as 05 Milan on the TLW forums, Lage is the caption King. He's usually responsible for around half the captions which appear in the fanzine. A decent player himself, he plays for a team in the Norwegian Fifth Division.
