“I am concentrating only on coaching and training my team” The now infamous phrase uttered over and over by Rafa Benitez this week, sparking the latest bout of media jostling between the manager and his bosses. Rafa shouldn’t have behaved the way he did, I’ll accept that. You can’t criticise your bosses publicly in any walk of life, and had one of his players condemned him to the media he’d not stand for it. However, is that really the big issue here?
