Astrit Ajdarevic's first goal for the club set the reds u18 side on their way to a 2-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers at the Academy this morning, but Hughie McAuley's side finished the game with ten men after German striker Marvin Pourie was sent off for elbowing. Swedish star Ajdarevic rifled in a stunning half volley from 25 yards to give his side an early lead, and the promising Nathan Eccleston added a second a minute before half time with his third goal in two games. Even after Pourie's dismissal, the reds were the more threatening side.
