Liverpool U18s prepared for their FA Youth Cup semi final first leg at Newcastle next week with a 1-1 draw against Everton at the Academy on Saturday morning. Craig Lindfield’s first half strike was cancelled out by Kieran Agard who rounded Martin Hansen in the Liverpool goal only a minute after half time. Perhaps more worryingly, however, inspirational captain Jay Spearing had to leave the field with a foot injury.
