Nabil El-zhar scored from the spot as Liverpool Reserves are currently drawing 1-1 with Everton at Halton Stadium in Widnes. Everton took the lead after five minutes with a contentious free kick, which was blasted home by Molyneux from 25 yards. The reds equalised on 26 minutes when El-Zhar was tripped in the box and picked himself up to score from the spot. The reds were awarded another penalty 25 minutes later when Zenden was felled, but the Dutchman put his penalty wide.
