Neil Mellor hit a late goal as the reds reserves defeated Runcorn 3-0 in the 2nd round of the Liverpool Senior Cup tonight. Mellor, who completed the full ninety minutes and looked sharp, struck from 18 yards after being teed up by Antonio Barragan. Paul Anderson and Ramon Calliste had given the reds a two goal half time advantage.
