The reds second string trail to Leeds reserves by a goal to nil at the break, after a disappointing first half display in which they never got going. Leeds went in front on 15 minutes through highly rated defender Simon Walton, a player who has been regularly linked with the reds. He slotted home a rebound after Paul Willis had made a fantastic stop to keep out a deflected free kick.
Idrizaj and Hammill have gone close for the reds, but Willis had to make a couple of important stops to keep the deficit to just a single goal.
Harry Kewell is on the bench and is expected to be given a 20 minute run out in the second half.
A brief report will be posted on the full time whistle, and a full report will be on site tomorrow.
