What happens if you put something slabberish on for a laugh? Are there repercussions or do they just change it back?

You might get a warning/your editing permissions taken away, they might lock the page, they might ban you. All depends on how bad what you wrote was, how often you do it, and if you have a history for doing it.

Well i've never done it before, and its not really that bad, i just wanted to add some balance/truth to a certain boxer's page...

Well first of all they track your IP then when our out they install cameras into your home. They use them to monitor your daily behaviour and have an undercover unit standing by in an un-marked black Honda.

Yeh, but i have mates who can hit cars with bats to sort that problem....

If you're genuinely trying to improve it, and it sucks, they'll just revert it and tell you why it wasnt up to their standards.

Its fairly obvious the different between improving a page and vandalising it.

Splat's wikipedia page hijack lasted for two months, it seems, before it was changed back. I thought it was comedy gold, can't remember who did it.
