Anvil are a real heavy metal band from the 80s. The point of the film is that they are in their 50s now and still want to be that heavy metal band from the 80s.

Sir, they've made 13 albums and although quite big in the 80's they both now work in there home towns in shit jobs but havent given up the dream.

There is a lesson in this for us all!

They are playing Leeds for defo and the drummer said maybe Glasto.

Either way i'm going to go and see this film and see them.

Unfortunately I have one of their albums, called Forged In Fire, and its fucking terrible. Its low point ( depending on your point of view) is a song called Butterbust Jerky, which describes titfucking your girlfriend while her cleavage is covered in butter.

Perhaps Anchor could pick it up, call their butter Wanchor?
