Re: Anyone fancy starting a band?

1) grunge / alt rock / rock / folk.
2) I sing, and can have a guitar around my neck to look cool.
3) been playing guitar for 2 and a half years, so I'm not terrible but not good enough to be a main guitarist thingy dude man. Power chord Pete, they call me.
4) been in two bands that gigged for about a year each, then I've tried to start a few others that didn't work out due to different reasons (choosing the wrong people basically - either people being egotistical which I cant fucking stand, or people not wanting to play the same thing as me.
5) 20 today my good man!

Re: Anyone fancy starting a band?

Something like that yeah. Maybe experimenting a little more, messing with time signatures, using strange things as instruments, just something different yanno?

Re: Anyone fancy starting a band?

that question, "what kind of music are you into?" always reminds me of my mate's boring college friend.

She was a posh ginger bird and by far the most boring human being I've ever encountered, everytime she came out she'd just say "Hi, so what kind of music are you into?" At which point I'd just order another scotch.

Re: Anyone fancy starting a band?

I play the bodhran, bongo's and guitar.

I guess I'm a bit too acoustic for the TLW "school of Cock"
