I resent the notion that by learning why paedophiles act I am in anyway more sympathetic to the crime. Surely it is the healthy way of trying to reduce molestation is by learning about it, not burying the head in the sand.

I have the utmost respect for the people who have these urges but who excercise self control and don't go out on the nonce. I can't imagine how a person must feel when they have feelings like that towards kids and they know it's disgusting.
However the ones who actually abuse kids should be fucking hung drawn and quarterd, shitebags.

Im not trying to say that at all. I am saying that being abused is most definitely not an excuse to go on and abuse.
And if i was to go down that route remmie it would be plausible for me to resent the suggestion that one is keeping their heads in the sand.
