Ennio Morricone to play in Belfast

just thought id give thee a heads up that ennio morricone is to perform in belfast at the waterfront hall to open the film festival.
he's bringing an orchestra from rome aswell as musicians from ireland, think its a 200 piece in all.
any fans of the spaghetti westerns, once upon a time in america/west or the mission this might be a once off. about £50/60 a ticket, its on the 17/18th october, heres the link if anyones interested

should be pretty special alright, i got saturday tickets for the f stand i think, its fairly central so im hoping it will be a decent view of the stage.

what a pleasure it was to see the great man himself.

played pretty much all of his best known works even if some of the pieces i like most were not included and did a double encore at the ripe old age of 80.

pretty breathtaking to see music that beautiful being performed by a huge orchestra and choir in fornt of your eyes.
