The greatest BBC comedy series ever*...
...is finally getting a release on DVD.
Play.com (UK) : If You See God, Tell Him : DVD - Free Delivery
Ooooooh yes. Been waiting for donkeys years for this. Fuckers at the BBC screened it ONCE then forgot about it. This is Renwick and Marshall's best work, and at that price, it's begging to be bought.
*okay, Fawlty Towers, Alan Partridge and The Office are slightly better

Barring The Office, The Thick of It and Alan Partridge; the BBC haven't made a good comedy for 20 years.

Don`t think they forgot about, if I remember rightly it was canned after complaints that it was mocking the mentally disabled.
It was very funny and Richard Briers was excellant in it.

Shit; yeah. I always associate The Day Today with Channel 4 because Brass Eye was on that channel. It's as good as anything that's been produced too.
That would be Mark Nunneley wouldn't it Thants? How did that come about?

I'm more of a Brittas Empire man myself. Gotta love the first couple of series of Just Good Friends as well - very, very edgy in places (a big influence on Curb Your Enthusiasm, according to Larry David).

Re: The greatest BBC comedy series ever*...
If you see God tell him was a fantastic, a very back comedy.
Will Deffo be buying it.
Can you think of the last decent ITV comedy?
I can think of Rising Damp and that's it. Nothing decent before or after
