Ebay

I'm trying to get a ticket for Radiohead on Sunday and I've been outbid 3 times now at the last second; if it happens again I'm gonna punch the screen quite hard. I used to be the balls at getting the last minute bids in, but I haven't bought anything of there for ages and my talent seems to have faded. Has anyone got any tips for snide bidding - or alternatively a spare ticket?

Between 15 and 20 quid for one, but most are being sold in pairs. I think I might still be able to buy one officially for face value (42.50), but that's a last resort.

Save your money Pal.
Scratch your nails on a blackboard while reading The Bell Jar.

It’s equally as depressing.

Thanks for the tip, don't be offended if I don't take it on board though.

Re: Ebay

Is freakin right - just got a ticket for the laughably small cost of 10.50, plus a fiver for it to be sent out by special delivery tonight.

Dont be dissapointed when someone sends you a piece of bog roll with radiohead ticket wrote on it. Thats surely got to be a con. £10.50?

That's my worry, but pairs of tickets were going for around 30 quid and you tend to pay more for two. Fingers crossed anyway, otherwise someone will be hunted down...

Re: Ebay

If anyone else is going to this gig (got my ticket sorted now btw), judging by the setlist at the London one it doesn't sound like they're gonna play many of their hits. It's mostly the stuff from In Rainbows, as you'd expect, but apart from Just I don't think they play too many other singles. Visual effects are supposedly awesome as well.

Tar mate, I'm actually meeting the woman selling it to me in person instead of her sending it now, so she's offered to give me the fiver back for the delivery charges - I won't accept though, I feel cheeky enough only paying her a quarter of the ticket price.

Re: Ebay

I am sure you can get some sort of software that outbids the highest bid with about 2 seconds to go .So if you are up against an ebay prof then you do not stand a chance.

Sounds good to me, but did they do the sort of lesser known songs from Ok Computer and The Bends? I heard they just did Airbag, The Tourist, Planet Telex and Just from those two albums.

Also, if anyone else is going to this one it'd be appreciated if they shared their travel info (i.e. how you're getting there and back). I left it to my mate to sort out and it still hasn't been as yet

Sounds like they might have played two different sets on each of the London days then, I definately heard someone moaning about them not playing Karma Police in one of the sets. If Paranoid Android comes on I might actually drop to my knees in the middle of the field.
