You're near the top, I think. Go to member list, then click reputation and it lists people in order of who has the highest rep.

i saw this thread the other day, but needed some time to consider before i could add something to the discussion.

firstly i must say that i can only dream to aspire to such lofty heights of popularity, and my admiration for those titans of positive reputation can only be equalled by my raging jealousy.

however, i have to disagree with the ranking system since it tends to reward quantity over quality.....allow me to demonstrate (without any predudice).

take the example of woo-lfc, who joined at approximately the same time as myself. if senor woo-lfc has 4800 rep points and 4600 posts to his name, then his actual 'quality-based rating' would be approx 1.04 rep points per post.

i have 3752 rep points but only 540 posts to my name, for a highly respectable 6.95 rep points per post. to look at it another way, you would have to read approx seven of woo-lfc posts to equal the perceived enjoyment of one of mine.

i know that many people joined far in advance of the rep system (april 2008?) which might make it difficult to measure accurately, but it something to consider..... i'll take quality over quantity any day.

i knew being good at photoshop would pay off someday. it's not ms paint, mind, but it has worked wonders for my internet popularity.

for that, i am most grateful.
