Not yet, brother. The gig is in a fortnight. MGMT and Bat for lashes are supporting apparently; which is pretty decent.

Re: Did Monty pop his Cherry yet ??
Are we talking about Monty seeing them live or actually having sex with them?
And no, wanking over Thom Yorke doesn't count

Mate who's a big Radiohead fan saw them 2 weeks ago in Dublin was very disappointed with them.

Ah right, trust me he's not one of those Paddy knobs, he's a big Radiohead fan but he just wasn't into it.

I saw them when they headlined at Glastonbury a few years back and, to quote someone who says "they were fucking amazing" a lot... they were fucking amazing.

Re: Did Monty pop his Cherry yet ??
They are one of the best live bands I've ever seen. Unlike many, they clearly are accomplished musicians and they also quite obviously rehearse a lot. Beyond that, though, they know how to rawk, man.

Re: Did Monty pop his Cherry yet ??
They are quite simply the finest band, with the strongest collection of songs, that have ever graced my ears. They were majestic tonight. Beautiful, thundering, hair-tingling tunes that just kept coming one after another. I was bouncing around like a maniac and just thinking how funny the tired myths about their depressing music are; they absolutely fucking rock the gaff, with at least two in three getting people jumping around.
Some of the new stuff really sounded awesome tonight. Bangers & Mash, Videotape, Jigsaw falling into place, Weird fishes and All I need; they all came to life superbly. It's strange because you don't even care what they play next because you know it's going to be brilliant, whether it be a single or an album track, new or old. Some stuff off Hail to the thief came out and stole the applause you would think was reserved for the classics (2+2=5 is now a bone fide 'blow the roof off' track).
They were just awesome and I'm really pleased I got to see them. They were on for almost two hours and you could put ten of the tracks they didn't play together on an album and it would still be better than 99% of the albums ever made.
Genius.

My sentiments are similar on another thread, but not as well put as that. Agree about 2+2=5, I wouldn't have picked that out as a potentially great staduim song beforehand but there it was. Just fucking unreal, there is no other band even close to them today.
