Give it up, Hillary...
Even with a shit load of Republicans going out to vote for her because McCain has a better chance of beating her, Clinton's delegate deficit increased after Primaries in Indiana and North Carolina (Woooooooooooooo!) last night.
Her chances of winning the nomination now are slim and none. I just wish she'd just fucking quit. She's doing the world no good whatsoever with this selfish insistence on staying in the race. She needs landslide victories in all of the remaining states and the backing of superdelegates to win the nomination which she just isn't going to get.
The uncommitted supers are going to with the will of the people, why else would they wait to commit when the race is causing more and more damage to the fate of the world as we speak?
You're not going to win, you're not going to get the chance to "totally obliterate" Iran, now shut the fuck up you mental looking bitch, fuck off and let's start mending the shit.

I'd like to agree, but half of me wants to see what other slanderous, pathetic, racist campaign tricks she's gonna embarrass herself by pulling out of the bag; as she slowly descends from the podiums and back home to rearrange Bill's stack of white collar porn.

Haha, that's ace. I also liked the video where she drank beer and ordered a bottle of Crown Royal to show that she wasn't an elitist.

Chris you are in for one hell of a fucking suprise if you think Obama will mend anything.
Even if he beats McCain and I dont think he will (although I do want him to win) then he'll get shot in some conspiracy shit!

Et voila.... Liberal indeed. No wonder the republicans want her in.

He'll beat McCain I think man. The Dems are voting in unprecedented numbers at the moment and he's responsible for registering a shit load of them. I believe in the guy, I really do. He can at least turn things in the right direction again during his term.

She's doing nothing but hurt someone who has far wider appeal and more chance of winning. Her address in West Virginia today was pitiful.

Whats the right direction though Chris?
America even with 'good' presidents still carry out the most heinous of acts and if Obama wins he'll do the same, nothing changes in mainstream politics especially in America.
Beside's they'll kill him before they allow him anywhere near the oval office.

I don't think that's true anymore. She does better than Obama in desicive swing states for the Democrats. Furthermore the damage she has inflicted on Obama due to pastor Wright and his elitism will only get worse once the repuplicans get going with their campiagn. A democrate candidate without pulling power amongst the blue-collar workers will struggle against any Republican candidate.
However, I agree, it's time for her to give in. But that's what her mother thought her not to do, wasn't it?

The right direction is mending the economy by sacking off tax cuts for the rich, providing affordable health care for all that want it, making it affordable for young people to go to college, making a more concerted effort to cut carbon emissions, moving to end the Iraq War, rid the country of the rampant 'jobs for the boys' cronyism, mending America's reputation on the world stage and their relationship with foreign allies and foes. None of that is happening under the current administration.
I'm positive in my heart of hearts that he's the right man to do this. People criticise him for being all about speeches and rhetoric, which isn't true, but that rhetoric make him the most inspiring politician since JFK. He's someone people can believe it. He can motivate the American people to rise from their slumber and do something about the state of their nation.
His policies are sound (yet less precise or well developed than Hllary's) and his desire is there to effect the change that is needed. He can do all of these things BECAUSE of his relative freshness, his lack of a conflicted past with the corporate world. He's untainted. He's not a Bush and he's not a Clinton. Why can't any of this change happen under Hillary? Because she's a part of the establishment that needs removing.
I know there would be fears for his safety, but we can't let that discourage us.

The Pastor Wright thing has benefited Obama, I think. That was the one big bump-in-the-road he's had so far and he came through it with that great speech on race and claimed the moral high ground.

I understand what your saying and you say it very well may I add but he does'nt do anything for me at all. I listen to him and its just nothing which gets me going, thats not to say Hillary does it just I feel she'd do a better job.
It wrecks head that a man who could be the 1st black president of America does'nt inspire me one bit.

Do you think it's that you think what he's saying is transparent, or phony, or insincere, or pandering to the glum feelings of the nation? Why doesn't it get you going, dude?

I dont know and it really disturbs me. Here we are possibly on the verge of one the greatest moments in the history of man and I just cant get excited.
Maybe I'm just bored with Politics, I've done three years of it at uni and the whole Labour self-destruction and Cameron phoney bollocks has made me feel a little off with the whole thing.
I hope he wins, I really really do. I want a Democrat to win either way but as a final point I think McCain is a shoe in.

If he wins we're all fucked. Just can't allow myself to believe that at the moment. Which is kinda why I'm so desperate for her to move aside.

Re: Give it up, Hillary...
I'm with Chris for the most part, however I think the expectations will be too high. He's promising alot that he cannot possibly deliver. Health care in the US is run by huge corporations and they are probably more powerful than the oil companies. To overhaul the system would take massive courage and perservation- the republicans would have stories every day in the papers aboot some 'wetback' getting access to 'free' health care whilst a mini-driving God-fearing Mom of 4 has to wait for care. FOX will have a field day with this.
I should follow American politics more as the state of the States has a huge effect on Canada. As one of our PM's once said it like being a mouse sharing a stable with an elephant. Hiliary is from the old school establishment and I think that 12 years of Bush and 12 years of Clinton would be a bad thing.
I am, however, waiting for Obama to mention Walton's most famous Negro, our very own fivetimes. Perhaps on election night when he wins he will break into jive and share the jerk chicken on stage!
