Stag in Amsterdam (need help on place to stay)

There's 7 of us heading over at the start of July and i'm struggling to find somewhere, most sites are telling me there's nowhere left. I'm trying to avoid a hotel and go for an apartment or houseboat.
So if anyone can help i will be forever in debt to you, even 2 houseboats or 2 apartments will do.

Stayed here on mine and it was ace. Decent quality, fucking brilliant breakies included, five minute walk from the station and right in the middle of the red light district:

We also stayed in an apartment for my mate's do, but I'll be fuked if I can rememer where it was or what it was called (and I booked the fucker). I do know it was a pain in the arse trek from town - 25 mins, about.

That Botel is a good safe bet .Not too expensiive and does the job
I love Amsterdam .

I like the look of that, the suites look nice and big, hopefully its not booked up.
Is there any problem about smoking in these rooms?

With my vast experince in european trips, I advise when someone is going to Amsterdam is to stay in Holland.

Having been about a dozen times my advice would be,
1. You will get run over.
2. If you use the trams you can get anywhere in minutes.

Last time I went was on a stag doo and we had 16 of us in one dorm room.
Top floor up about a million steep stairs. We where all in bed about 9am one morning and we heard the door to the room open.
Who the fuck is this we thought.
Next thing the bog light goes on and we heard the loudest shitting noise ever. Woke those who weren't awake already. Next thing we saw the maid making a sharp exit. The dirty slag.
One of the lads shagged her about 2hrs later which was justice.

I stayed here in Feb:

It was really cool a few really nice appartments/ lofts etc to stay in, really tasteful. Highly recommend it.

This is my 5th time heading over, i quite like it over there only this time i have no place to stay unless i sleep with prostitutes for the 3 nights.

I'll second that. Its a great place you can get an apartment for up to six people.

Your joking, really?? That sucks balls. I've only been over once last year for me mates 21st, we stayed in some shithole called Damrak. It said no smoking but we did anyway, oh and I had 3 bites on my legs by the end, still a good laugh though, but yeah stay away from the hotel Damrak there must be better gaffs.
