IE7 of firefox

Just bought a new laptop and its the first time ive used vista, had firefox on my old system (xp) but IE7 seems far better than the version i had.

Should i download firefox for vista or is IE7 fast enough?

That happened to me once or twice but luckily i had backed them up. each time firefox downloads an update i back up my bookmarks before i install the update.
never had a problem since.
IE7 has tried to use all firefox's good bits and got 'em wrong.
i use safari on my macs, i like that even better than firefox but the windoze version is a bit smelly
