There was a bootleg that had Q-Tip rapping over Loaded by Primal Scream, it was on late night radio a few years ago, I would happily sell a finger to get a copy of that motherfucker. It was so good. It makes me sad to think I might never hear it again.
That's a quality little tune there Paulinho.

Is it the one that's been out on bootleg for a couple of years (Live at the Renaissance) because it didn't get a release or has he just appropriated the title? If it's got Getting Up on it, it must be at least partially new stuff.

after listening to the ep thru once or twice i have a bit of time for the cool kids.
nothing exceptional but i like the whole feel of the cd.
i expected a bit more sampling and scratching but its rare indeed to find that on most hip hop albums these days.
The Bake Sale is the best hip hop album released since Be by Common.

i'm certainly not the best in the world for keeping my ear on what's coming out so i can't really compare it to what else has been released in the last few years but i do quite like the bake sale, my initial disappointment was more to do with a lack of scratching and sampling as i had the impression the album had that feel to it, i like the outlook of the album and think they have much more to come aswell.
they remind me a bit of the pharcyde so that's defo a good thing.
Ask for me
I ain't never scared
I'm everywhere
You ain't never there
Nigga why would I ever care
Pound for pound I'm the best to ever come around here
Excluding nobody
Look what I embody
The soul of a hustler I really ran the street
A CEO's mind
That marketing plan was me
And no I ain't get shot up a whole bunch of times
Or make up shit in a whole bunch of lines
And I ain't animated, like say a, Busta Rhymes
But the real shit you get when you bust down my lines
Add that to the fact I went plat a bunch of times
Times that by my influence on pop culutre
I supposed to be number one on everybodys list
We'll see what happens when I no longer exist
Fuck this man
Well hello again. I seem to go through phases of particular artists (though life's one big hip hop phase).
At the moment I'm loving Mos Def; I finish work, spark a tab as I'm waiting for the train and we coast home together:

Dont know what everyones views are on Kanye but im going to be so fuckin honored to be seeing him live in Liverpool next week
My views are, he's a dickhead but I absolutely love him for it. The mans a genious, anybody who can't see that is blind. He has produced so many classic hip hop tracks and every one of his albums I can listen to without skipping a single song (except the one with Lil Wayne on his last album). The man will go down as a legend.
