cunting easycar/ credit cards

going to a wedding in england tomorrow, flying into heathrow tonight have rented a car from easycar but just discovered they don't accept maestro or visa delta by way of deposit.

i've paid the booking with a debit card, why didn't they say to me at this point "we see thats a debit card, you may have trouble when you go to pick up the car because we require a credit card"

no though they took the booking the hungry cunts and now they tell me that i might not be able to pick up the car cos I've no credit card and i bet i'll not be able to get a refund either. My girlfriend has a credit card but she hasn't renewed her license thus she doesn't have a valid license.

so i phone easycar from work but it's an 0906 number so I have to phone them from my mobile, they keep me on there 10 minutes at a cost of £9 and then tell me that she doesn't think I will be able to take the car unless I have a credit card but I have to speak to the supplier and the suppliers number is the confirmation email, i tell her it isn't, she says she can try and transfer me. I ask for the number as this is costing me a fortune and she gives me this number that doesn't look right so i say is this defo the right number? is there a code or anything, she says no thats definitely it, i say are you sure cos i can't afford to phone you back if this number is wrong, she says thats definitely the number. So I hang up and phone this number and it doesn't fucking work!!

also on credit cards, you know those guys who try and get you to sign up for a new credit cards in shopping centres? well, I stopped one day to experiment. The guy asks do I have a credit card and I say yes i have about 6 and i'm up to my eyes in debt (I'm not, I've never owned a credit card) and he says well do you want another one, I say I probably can't because my credit rating would be poor, he comes back with well this company will be able to get you a credit card no matter what you're credit rating, i said whats the apr though about 40%?

What the fuck is wrong with these people? if I have 6 credit cards maxed out I hardly need another one yet this cunt is prepared to heap on the misery so he can get a commission.

Easycar are shite and I'd never use them, they aren't even cheap.

I often book hire cars and use Enterprise. They don't even ask for a credit card to book and I always pay by a debit card. Usually works out cheaper are there is no limited mileage and I don't have to drive an orange fucking smart car with some grinning cunt or slogan on the side of it either.

Try putting 141 before you dial the full number. Most work phone exchages are set up to block the 09... but will except the 141 bit, which overides it and allows you to ring who you want - know this doesnt help with the credit card bit!
