Oooh, good wine knowledge. I'm not great on wine facts, but I reckon I've got an ace palate. It's hard to de-poncify wine, which is a shame as I reckon it's the sort of thing where the pleasure increases exponentially with knowledge.

Shhh! He isn't to knw that. I shall try a distraction to cover my asre.

Anyway, I can confirm that the next ale du jour from Bateemans is one of the nicest things to ever pass my lipss. So far.

It is made with from worts, apparently; this perturbed me greatly at firsat, as I do not lie feet.

However these worts are not footwarts:

Quote:
"Combined Harvest is a unique combination of brewing worts, or extracts from a variety of cereals. Most premium ales are brewed only using malted barley, but this multigrained beer has a blend of malted oats, malted rye, and malted wheat. The end result is lots of flavour.

A unique multigrain blend of malted barley, oats, rye and wheat. Grainy tasting with a delightful floral start and finish."
I am going to buyy lots of this timorrow, as it is fucking ace; it slidees down like beans on a fgry-up.

Observe:

The "Red Strip" of gthe ale world.

It is very hard to de-poncify wine because most of the lingo sounds amazingly poncy. When I was at catering college, I took the opportunity to study for the Wine and Spirit Education Trust. It definitely helped my enjoyment but the same can be done through drinking loads of wine and noting down whether you like it or not and asking for advice in proper wine shops.

I'm on on my second Cornish Ale, I decided to leave my Timothy Taylors in the fridge. Yes, I like to cool my ale sometimes. I'll avoid old Bob and look out for the combine harvester. Hows the belly?
