Re: What book are you currently reading?

Have to agree on Men At Arms.

Also recommended- Peter Jackson's biography. Seems a top bloke, and he wasn't just responsible for the LOTR films- the book explains just how long and hard he worked to get in the position to direct them.

He is a genuine hard working feller. Doesn't fall into the 'Hollywood' bracket, which makes him seem a more decent person. I really hope that he sorts out his differences with New Line so he can direct The Hobbit- any other director just won't be good enough.

Ted: No... No, Dougal, that's us. That's Catholicism.

Next up is "Last Tango in Aberystwyth" - I hope it isn't the epitome of the "tricky second book".

Re: What book are you currently reading?

I finished Solipsist by Henry Rollins, it wasnt half bad.

Next on the list is Pulp by Charles Bukowski, have been meaning to read this for years, now is the time. If that tickles my salmon, then its on to re-read Factotum, Women, Hot Water Music etc.

Then Ive got yet another book, this time a newer one about the Lord Lucan case...the premise of this one being that he was innocent...I love a laugh and a challenge!

Re: What book are you currently reading?

Just finished Round Ireland with a fridge and its one of the funniest books i have ever read. I would highly recommend it. I hate this bit of being between books, especially if i have enjoyed the previous one as much as i did this. i feel like im being disloyal by starting another one - gay!

Good to Great by Jim Collins. It's all about why some companies make the leap to greatness and others don't. Fascinating.

Re: What book are you currently reading?

The Valhalla Exchange by Jack Higgins. It's alright so far but could go either way.

Am waiting for The Amber Room by Steve Berry to come out in paperback on May 31st, The Templar Legacy was quality and this is the next one.

I'm about 100 pages in. Incredibly complex but well worth the effort.

I had to read it for 20th Century Lit at Uni but never passed the first 10 pages or so. Should've stuck with it really, as I'm quite enjoying it.
