Re: Xpert 11 league started. Anyone interested?
I want the runner-up from group A in the knockout stages, if that could be arranged then that would be just super.
Maradona is going to be one of the best players in the league for some years at this rate; he rules very hard indeed.

Yeah. My idea was to get a draw today so I could get through with a win next week. But then you went and drew today, so it didn't really matter in the end.

Re: Xpert 11 league started. Anyone interested?
Qualified with a win over Liverpoolsweden. We never seem to be entirely convincing though. We seem to have struggled through to qualification. I can see us getting bummed in the knockout stages.
Remember, those who are placed 3 and 4, will be playing the UEFA cup which will be organised by means of a friendly. I will do the draw and you will get a mail from me in xpert11 telling you who you are playing. The first name out in each tie will then challenge the next team, thus playing at home. It will take a wee bit of organising but nothing too tricky. Anyone who doesn't challenge in time will have a 3-0 walkover.
Does that sound fair?

Yes, home and away. Standard UEFA rules, away goals and stuff. Obviously if it is 0-0 in both legs there will be problems, but we can deal with that if it happens, which it probably won't. It would probably be best to have it decided by shots on goal or something like that which is easily quantifiable. Probably best to decide in advance as it may affect tactics. I think shots on goal is a good one.

Shots on goal over two legs should be fair enough.

I couldn't be less interested in all this UEFA discussion, the revolution doesn't concern itself with such trifling matters.

Believe it.
It will be shots on goal over the two legs. that is the easiest to find out and will encourage attacking football. The worst is going to be for people who qualify and then get knocked out of the CL in the first knockout round. They miss out on both. They can play a special Everton Cup.

Woohoo, I won 3-0! Group C is the group of death.
Emile Mkeithza is going to be far better than this Maradonna of yours Monty.

Nope. None whatsoever. Just prestige. Loads of it. Well, a bit anyway.

Off course...all your team is interested in is injurying honest basque pro`s like
Montxo Guerrero, who happened to be my best defender, and a team of the week regular. He will now miss at least the next two games, and his form will end up blown away as well...
Bastard!
