Nope, if you have put in the highest bid you'll get him on the transfer date. There arent an transfer windows thankfully!

Also - RiS you bastard. I have karlb in the first match then have to go on a mad run of matches where I play everyone who fimnished in the top half of the table last season, then a few easier games in the middle, ending with tough games again and a game at home against karlb's fellas - which could turn out to be the match to decide who stays up.

I must have the most difficult start and finish to the league out of all TLW leagues.

Hey everyone else in the prem hates me! I'm just being honest, I reckon the relegation battle will be between me karl and red knights red knights.

Ps Carra - you may do depending on if others have put bids in. As a general rule you wont get a 7+ bar player for just the asking price, unless the bastard agents screw with you fucking bastard cunts fucking 6 bar to a 4 bar fucking player.

no. in general not. you used to be able to see if anyone else was bidding but not any more. I always whack a couple of hundred thousand more on and sometimes I fail. more if you really want them.

no. one chance only. there are loads of players though. in general, the players you get offered by agents by mail are better value and there is no bidding. be careful though, agents lie.

I'd say it's pretty unlikely that anyone esle has bid for the player he's bid for from our league. In the bigger league it's a nightmare but in our little league I've never not got a player at face value.

I would never naturally say, I'd let him figure it out himself, but I've bid face value for a player I've spent money on to check and I'm not taking the 40-1 chance that it's the same player.
