My update in teh CL was pretty impressive, every single player increased and I had 11 visible increases in skill.

Yep, its just the form levels after matches now.
Ultimately, the change report will still be determined by the average form over a season and percentage of match experience, so you will still know what kind of report you are expecting. Its basically to stop managers buying a skill update over a season.

There is, but only to get their form up. I blasted players with form training at the beginning of seasons whether they needed it or not to get the average up early. It was much easier to keep it high if you did that. I guess friendlies are now quite important, which I tried to avoid.
