There is a certain amount of luck involved with your youth players, but you have to develop the players you have. Read the rule book, it has good tips on how to play to your players strengths. Mind you, i am playing shit at the moment so what the hell do I know? Focus on quality press releases instead.

Nah, it was only a 4-3 aggregate drubbing, with an 81st minute free kick sending me through.

Don't start making excuses for your managerial ineptitude only 4 games in!

Fuck, you're right. I looked at the last league game i had which was a 4-0 drubbing and thought it was the cup game. Shit, there I was thinking that i got pasted.

I'm well miffed about Thisisanfield's new signing. A seven bar midfielder for about two and a half million is criminally good value. It's particularly annoying as that's exactly what I'm looking for at the moment and it's about 6 million for that type of player on the transfer screen (and even then you might be getting a 6 or 5 bar player for your money!)

Presume it was offered by an agent and you got lucky mate?

Calm down Stu. The pressures of management are really starting to get to you now. They know you've got money to spend, it's inevitable they'll screw you for players.

You aren't in that practice league like last season now, this is the real thing.
