Opera is shit as a main PC browser in my experience. Its ideally suited for Phones and PDA's ,toughbooks and the like but its way behind FF and even IE (spit) for functionality .

I'm just downloading Firefox, out of interest is it best for me to take internet explorer off my PC, or does it not make a difference?

Not sure if you can (at least not easily) and it matters not anyway. Just make sure you make FF your default (will ask during set up)

Man that was ages ago, I just got it painfully wrong last time. I probably put into google like a soft get.
All boxed off, not noticed much of a difference really.

Re: Especially for Firefox users
Can any Firefox expert help me - got it installed and it is very quick but the font looks poor, like it's pixellated. The font using IE looks smoother. I've tried changing Firefox fonts but haven't found a solution yet.
Any suggestions?

Re: Especially for Firefox users
I recently reinstalled Windows after having a virus. The virus had gone but my firefox was running really slow.
This fix has sorted it out now.
Thanks a lot Gav, Repped 2 years on after the thread was started!
