Americans sports and gayness. Surely there's a link.

Why do Americans feel the need to bastardize, destroy and gayify all sports?

Ice Hockey - We too have a game like ice hockey that was invented in England. We play it without Mr Blobby costumes, without figure skates and without throwing each other in to walls and on to floors because you can't be bothered refining and honeing any real hockey skills. We call this sport "Hockey".
It is generally played by public school girls and gays. Just like in America, only with the above exceptions.

Baseball - We too have a game like this that was invented in England. We play it without Helmets and Mr Blobby costumes, without 376 players and not with 120,000 people watching. It also does not last 7 days, like baseball.
We call this sport "rounders". It is generally played by public school girls and gays. Just like in America, only with the above exceptions.

Basketball - We too have a game like this that was invented in England. We play it without freaks and 123-97 scorelines. You raraley get 100,000 idiots to watch the English version.
We call this sport "netball". It is generally played by public school girls and gays. Just like in America, only with the above exceptions.

Amercian Football - See 'Baseball'

Etc. Etc

gay, gay and gay again.

Re: Americans sports and gayness. Surely there's a link.

Hockey is a Canadian game, played by mainly by Canadians. Maybe they all figure skate around in Mr Blooby costumes, but they are Canadians, not Americans, skating around. Now, here is the difference between Canadians and Americans.

GUNS- Americans shoot each other/ we shoot moose, elk, deer

HEALTH- Americans demand money up front/ we provide health care free

FATNESS- Americans are a nation of fatties/ we aren't as fat

Everybody loves Canadians/ most people of the world hate Americans.

TOLERANCE- Americans are against gay marriage; execute their own citizens; were segregatinist until the 70's; have a race problem; want to restrict access to abortion. Canada- allows gay marriage; no capital punishment; Canada was a destination for slaves looking for freedom; is tolerant, with Toronto being the worlds leading multi-cultural city and allows access to abortion.

So, Tommy lad, get yer Maple Leafs jersey on, head on down to London to Canada House (near Grosvenor Square I think) and get those immigration papers filled out. I'll meet you at Ottawa Intl Airport, with my best friend who is black, my sister who happens to be gay, and we'll go moose hunting. Happy Trails, mate. And we have a fine selection of imported British ales and lagers here as well.

Canada rules massively. That's a given. It's probably my favourite country, after Sweden for obvious reasons.
But Ice Hockey is still gay however you cut it.
Fact ;-)

The more you think about it the more Tom makes sense. I mean it's really just a hybrid of Hockey and Ice Skating....what could be gayer?

P.S. Gayify- best word ever.

Of course he makes sense, just because you disagree with him, doesn't mean he isn't writing in clear English. The only thing I can think to say about Ice Hockey is who was that guy who got knocked spark out in a fight and bled all over the ice and had to retire from Ice Hockey? Is there a clip of it anywhere? It's pretty horrific seeing him go down so it's only out of morbid curiousity

Re: Americans sports and gayness. Surely there's a link.

I am not sure if that is Scott Moore this year who has a broken neck but he may come back, or a guy whose surname is stevens can't remember his first name who was unconsious before hitting the ice, he was never the same guy since.

I am only joking about Tom remmie, Ice Hockey is a dangerous game Bryan Berard almost lost his sight after being hit with a stick by accident 4 years ago, sometimes I think any game were you lose something important like that is not worth playing!!!

er I don't get it.

Sounds like the Stevens dude, he took a while to go down- he was out on his feet & they guy just continued pummelling him.

I imagine it would be quite a good game to play provided everyone else is the same standard of shite.

Re: Americans sports and gayness. Surely there's a link.

Yeah I think it was stevens I have sen that many times replayed on TV he had major facial surgery and was out of the game for ages.

Ice HOckey has the big clubs like football does, Detroit Red Wings (manure), Colorado (Liverpool), Toronto maple leafs (Arsenal) plus the shite like Columbus Blue Jackets (Leicester), Pittsburgh Penguins (Leeds)

It is a good game to watch I enjoy it but I can so understand why others don't.
I have seen games live in USA and canada many times I think that is why I enjoy it so much nothing like going to a live game and sampling the atmosphere, to be honest far better than going to Anfield this season.
If Houllier goes this conversation is irrelavent!
