Croatia never had a chance after the late equaliser.

I don't think either side had much of a chance of beating Germany in knock-out competition but I think this result makes their step into the final a shade more straightforward, assuming a decent version of the Croatian side would've turned up for a semi against such a big side. On the other hand, maybe Turkey's mental strength will prove a greater obstacle than I imagine....

Haha Lineker & his pals sound genuinely upset that the Turks won this, nothing new there. NEVER again will a goalie get away with such a fuck-up that led to the Croatia goal. Great save for that Petric penalty. Rakitic & Modric were very good tonight I thought but you could see that they really did not fancy themselves for the pens.

I noticed that all of them were ready to kick off just after the Rustu fuck up.

Most teams would have been feeling sorry for themselves.

I know it's gonna be tough for them with so many injured and suspended, but I hope they fuck up the Germans.

They remind me of Boro in their uefa cup run. Shite team, full of wankers yet someehow they keep ragging their way through the next round.

Can't see them beating the Germans though with the suspensions and injuries.

Germany v Italy final. You just know it. All the great games previously and great team play will be undone by two teams who are masters of progresing in tournaments, howver shit/average their teams actually are.
