Another Liverpool “legend” quits the game
Bjørn Tore Kvarme, currently playing for Rosenborg, yesterday announced that he would retire from football on July 1st (Kvarme legger opp midt i sesongen – in Norwegian) Anyone remember him? In my view one of our worst players ever. Had a decent spell in Spain though.

To be honest when he first signed he looked decent enough but then at some stage he seemed to have his brain completely removed without telling anyone.

I challenge anyone to find a more 'shit your pants' situation than a back three of Phil Bad, Ruddock and Kvarme with James in goal.

Remember seeing him in the game against villa at Anfield when i think colly,carra and fowler scored . Thought he looked pretty decent but then turned into another '90s dud to add to the list of many.

I was talking to a friend of mine a few months back and we came to the conclusion that James wasn't too bad it was the shite that was in front of him Reina or Buffon would struggle to look good in front of some of the defending we had in that era. As Newport says we have had a lot worse though especially in terms of value for money....
