Beer bottle coolers.
AKA stubby holders in Australia.
One of the most practical things invented ever! It has the double advantage of keeping your beer colder for longer, but also keeps your hands warmer during those cold days and nights on the booze.
Here's a few basic designs:
Are these available anywhere in England? Didn't notice any around...

Or I could say that they are very popular in footy team colours and that it'd be mint to get them in the shape of a Reds shirt, with little numbers on the back and all!
There's an idea for the marketing department, methinks...

After using the one you brought to mine I have to admit they're class. Work a trat for keeping your bottle cold. One in a reds kit would be ace.

I have ace gloved one, that also acts as a beer mit. Its a wonderful thing. I may post a piccy later, party poker were giving them away, so I snaffled a few.
It was the second best present I got the day I stumbled upon it. The best was Glenn McGrath fell over a ball in warm-up and missed the Edgbaston 2005 Test.

They do have their design faults though.
I ruined one when bladdered at said test match. I was so eager to mouth off Brett Lee I ripped it off my hand to give him the finger when he was fielding near the Eric Hollies. Luckilly I had a back-up mitt handy.

Yeah they're cool (see what I did there?), I haven't seen them here, but we got some when we were in Oz a couple of years ago. Don't know what the fuck happened to them though!

Went to watch a local game at Roachedale Rovers and got some stubby holders with the club crest on, from their clubhouse.

I got some in Oz last year and a nice bottle one too, never seen them here until last week, there is a £1 shop opened in Ashton In Makerfield and they have the bottle ones there, shit design though sadly...

I've got a couple from when I was in Oz, they are pretty useless though, havent used them since I got home. If my beers getting warm (not very often) I just drink it quicker, I think their more useful over there for two reasons: 1) its hotter and 2) Aussies are pretty second rate when it comes to drinking from my experiance.
