Tierry Henry says Anfield is his favourite away ground again.
The former Arsenal striker has again praised the special atmosphere Anfield generates.
"For my first few years at Arsenal we didn't do well there, but we improved," said Henry.
"It's the atmosphere I love. It's unbelievable. I've played in a lot of stadiums but for me there is nothing like playing at Liverpool.
"Nothing can beat Highbury, of course, but playing at Anfield was great. The fans always sing and hold up their scarves before and after the game - whether they have won or lost.
"It must be amazing if you are a Liverpool player."

Would have loved to seen him at anfield for us

He's past it now and a once great career is going to peter out. Sad really. He should never have left Arsenal.

I know he's looked like he's over the hill since he left Arsenal, but I actually thought he looked pretty sharp the other night against Italy to be fair.

He's not past it but he's nowhere near the player he was, that lightning quick burst of pace that destroyed defenders has gone now. He'll need to rely on other areas of his game more and more.
Wenger got shut at just the right time in my opinion.

We have the new Henry in Torres, Torres is now reminding me of Henry at his best. The biggest problem is if we bought him where would we play him as his position is where Torres playes and he struggles wide left or right.
On Paper a front 3 of Villa, Torres and Henry would look brilliant However on the the ptich it might not be as effective as the paper version

Depending on cost and wages, I'd think about bringing him here.

Re: Tierry Henry says Anfield is his favourite away ground again.
Players like Henry who are one in a million, can make up for their lack of pace later in the careers with their reading of the game. Not to mention their sheer brilliance.
Players like Del Piero, Van Nistelrooy, Bergkamp (whilst they may not have had the pace of henry) all have the ability to make up for the decline of their physical condition.

That may be the case just dont see how you get Villa, Henry and Torres into the same team without lacking width and creativity

Id snap Barca's hand off for him, no question. A move here would reinvigorate his career.

I was merely stating my opinion that Henrys not past it. I wasnt saying I wanted us to sign him, although I would hardly be against it.
He would probably cost £15m+, I would rather keep Babel there.
