Shanks had a strong scottish accent,
fergie has got a strong accent (and cant say his 'Ls' or 'Rs'),

HeŽd make a great manager but will he be prepared to work outside of LFC to get his grounding?

Phil Thompson for example only ever wanted to work at LFC and no other club so never had the experience to get the job
