Bollocks to all this well team needed us fans behind them this is far more important issue.Even today padlocking the gates what has it achieved? if you want to take it a bit extreme wouldnt it of been far better if people locked themselves to the gates?More world wide media coverage for sure.
I aint knocking what SOS stand for but sorry if it upsets you mate but they had every chance to make far more of a impact before the end of season and they failed badly. The term piss up in a brewery springs to mind.

Easy to snipe away from the sidelines isn't it?
I'm fuming with that comment, as it shows a massive amout of disrespect to quite a few people who've put a lot of time, thought and effort into trying to keep the issue in the public eye.
Unless of course you have any better idea's?
And as far as doing something during the game, great idea in theory, but in practice it doesn't work as was proven during the Havant game
That and the fact that as a Union, the members voted against it.

Re: Photos of the demonstration..today
The fact that today's protest made the news shows that it was successful in raising the profile of the campaign and getting the message across to everyone. It is of paramount importance that the pressure continues to build on Gillette and Hicks as well as Ayre, Parry and Moores. They must all go.

I agree Andy.
These lads today are at least keeping the fact we want Hicks and Gillett removed still in the public eye.
During the games you have stewards there etc who will try and stop any protest plus you also have the fact that there is a game on and we also need to give the players our 100% support.
Im not in favour of all this hush hush nature of the S.O.S but i back them in what they do.
At least today the season is finished so its not affecting any players and im proud of the lads who are at least carrying on the fight.
In all fairness i am struggling a little to see how anyone can be having a go at the lads for this today as they doing what they believe is the best for the club and are not prepared to bend over and take it up the arse from the current owners.

What's this hush hush nature you refer to?

A great idea I thought. The publicity can only help.

When the back end of the website is functioning as it should
I'm not dealing with it personally, so the above is the limit of my knowledge on the matter

Re: Photos of the demonstration..today
I think it will take off when that happens, Liverpool fans are the most prominant on the Internet without a doubt. We will then have the funds to start making a difference from a PR point of view one would hope.

The simple answer would be that some people doubt whether they do (some of them) have the best intentions of the club at heart. I think there is some elitism to the whole thing "We are doing something", "We are proper supporters", "We are proper fans".
This kind of thing has does exist. People may not like it, but it does exist.

Re: Photos of the demonstration..today
The only thing that has any real chance of making a significant impact is a mass boycott of going the game and no-one buying seasys but realisticly that just isn`t gonna happen for various reasons.
So while I applaud the fans who took the time and effort to turn up today, I fear they`re pissing into the wind.

Exactly. Why should the owners give two fucks about today, never mind consider selling up?

I think the fact that you rarely see the names of those involved at the top of SOS counters this point somewhat, there is very little ego involved.
It's a bit of challange for everyone involved to be honest, we have a group of people who want us to be burning flags and being uber militant and then we have a group of people who are more conservative who would rather SOS not put themselves at risk of scorn and keeping well within the confines of the law of the land.
I think the best path is somewhere in between, but that is only my opinion though, and as always any decision that SOS make is as democratic as possible.

You would be very surprised how sensitive they are anything that appears in the media, either written or televised.
Hicks wants to win the hearts and minds of Liverpool supporters, and when things are quiet, apathy spreads like a cancer and slowly the people's opposition can subside, little things like today help remind people why the current situation is unacceptable.

That's well put and all fair enough. I think some people are a bit circumspect due to their previous experiences though.
