Does this thread have any substance or just someone's say so?

Not doubting his ability in front of goal but he fucked us off big time. Just Like Mcmanabubblepermskinnytwatman.

Having said that, the two faced twat i am , If we signed him I would be quietly happy.

Re: Owen at Melwood yesterday.

Fitness mayhem and traitor/not traitor controversy aside, with one year left on his deal and Newcastle hard up, we'd be fucking mad not to bring him back if the price is right. However, there's a big difference between hypotheticals and reality and I can't see it happening.

Re: Owen at Melwood yesterday.

What's next; him being observed in Wales and is probably joining Cardiff?

No dig at you atk, you didn't say he was here to sign, but that's what will come out of this thread.

Re: Owen at Melwood yesterday.

Yeah, people will assume he's going to sign for us now but it's more likely that he was just visiting Gerrard and Owen. Didn't this happen before not too long ago?

Re: Owen at Melwood yesterday.

He went off in a strop when Jim Bowen appeared saying, "And look what you could have won..."

And "Keep out of the black and into the Red, too late now you made your own bed."

That said, if the Price is Right, maybe he should come on down. He could help us turn draws into wins, two extra points, and what do points make?

I'd take him back if he cost less than £10m and would take a BIG pay cut.

Re: Owen at Melwood yesterday.

Torres is better than he ever was, and he won't displace him. That'll cost him his England place, or it may do. He won't leave.

He's proven he can play a bit deeper this season so I don't think we'd have to build our team around him to get the most from him.
