Re: Players to be bought for next season under American ownership
Am I alone in thinking Steven Darby can become an excellent right-back?

Not at all Dicko. But he needs his chance, getting a spanish passport might help

Darby is better than Arbeloa.

Clearly. Because everytime Darby has played in the PL or the CL he's been amazing.

Absolutely laughable, so our reserve full back is better than a full spanish international who had Messi in his back pocket over two legs.

I've watched every first team and reserve team game this season and I can safely say Darby isn't better than Arbeloa. Not even close.

Re: Players to be bought for next season under American ownership
None of our full backs are good enough. That is why Carragher has played some games at RB and the woeful Riise has still had a look in at LB.

good shout.
Regarding the summers transfers. I'm not too arsed, as a bit of tweaking here and there should improve us. Probably not enough to win the league but at least give us an extra 5-10 points. Best we can hope for in the have good runs in the cups again. Hopefully win a couple tomake up for the last 2 seasons.

Look lad, what i'm geting at is we keep signing right backs who are no better than the first one the manager had.
If he had kept Finnan who is better than Arbeloa and brought Stephen Darby through, plus gave him a few games like Insua has had then maybe we could have saved a few quid.
But it does look like Darby won't be given a chance with signing this swiss joke.
Do you not think we keep signing players from the spanish League as back up etc when they are clearly a waste of time.

Well it all about opinions and I don't think Arbeloa is £2m and big wages better than Darby
