I'm not shocked.

The humiliation last night was far too much to take for Barca. I think he's a good manager but has taken that team as far as he can. They have been pretty poor for most of this season.

I bet Barron Greenback has started clearing his desk already.

The replacement is Barca through and through, but does he have the ability to take them to the top again? Coaching the youth team and the likes of Messi and co isnt the same thing.....

I think Rijkaard is a very good coach and vastly underrated.

I would go the other way and say he overrated and given the talented players he had, should've done much better this season.

So wheres the problem with them? He's got arguably the most talented squad in the world but theres no discipline there and they're 17points behind an inferior squad of players not to mention being behind Villarreal.

They've had injuries at times but then everyone else has to.

Balague has been on Sky and reckons up to 12 players will be shown the door.
Including Eto'o and Deco.
The only players that will definitely stay are the likes of Messi, Bojan, Xavi and Iniesta.
He reckons Pep wants a striker in the Luca Toni mould.

fact is, im suspicious of these so called great coaches, Rijkaard, Schuster and Grant wouldn't get far without all the support they get from their club and working with the best players

Schuster showed he is a good coach whilst at Getafe, IMO. He turned Madrid into a strong defensive unit and works the attack well... I rate him.

Guardiola has done wonders with the B Team but he himself has stated in the past he feels this might be too soon for the big job.

Laudrup would be a shrewd move. He's been fantastic at Getafe they were unlucky in the UEFA cup. He might be in line for the Real job what with working in Madrid already however
