Even if he has, its hardly a great achievment. Lucas was brazilian player of the year and has played quite well in his debut season IMO.

Martin O'Neil is now sitting on the Villa bench pretty much managing the team.

The problem for Lucas (and some of our supporters it seems) is that he isn't blessed with extreme physical or technical attributes. Seeing a player like him on the TV will leave you a little underwhelmed, as he is basically relying on his team-mates and his brain to get things done.
