I think it would be the absolute breaking point for many Supporters. I reckon there would be a lot of empty seats at games and direct physical action against Him from certain quarters. He'd realise the trouble it would bring his way.

I'd like to think that if there were going to be empty seats then it would have happened already, thats not to denigrate Jamie's importance, just that maybe that ship has already sailed.

The lad was a legend at the party tonight. I hope the press dont get wind of it and turn it on him.

I was at the Olympia last night and Carra's love for the club is clear.

It was brave of him speaking there last night.

Re: Mr James Lee Duncan Carragher

Carragher has the biggest balls. Hopefully others will step forward too. Those who will leave for sure will have a good chance to stir the pot. Riise and Crouch could say something publically when their destiny is sealed.

Carra is legend

Right, so we know he attended but no-one is saying what he said. It was a public meeting held in a public forum where anyone could go. So you are not breaking any bond by telling us what he said. Please elaborate on his comments.

The fact he was there is enough for me, that is Carra and why he is held in the esteem that he is.
It may be better that what he said is not put up on the internet, the papers would only blow it out of proportion in my eyes.

As always Carra top man.

read it again and apologies. I think its a bit ott questioning whether Carragher is behaving in the liverpool way. He epitomises the liverpool way, i know part of it is to do things quietly in a respectful manner, but its also fighting for what you think is right.

Re: Mr James Lee Duncan Carragher

Great stuff, Evil triumphs when good men do nothing.

It's all very well people saying the players should keep out of it, but they're the only ones who can turn the screw with the vast majority of fans who don't come on these boards and don't know what's really going on.

Once rspected players start coming out against the owners there's really no going back for them, although the players themselves are playing a dangerous game when they'd just be within their rights to sit back and pick up their wages.

Putting yourself in the firing line to do what's right for something you love? I can't think of a more noble trait.

Carra is a legend.

Re: Mr James Lee Duncan Carragher

The fact this is on the Liverpool sites means it'll be in the press within days. The press will just make up what they want as it's not hard to put 1 + 1 together here. Carra was at an SOS meeting = Carra wants the Americans out. I think this is very smart however. Carra can just say that he was at a party with Liverpool fans and was there to discuss their grievances as Vice Captain. The Yanks will be advised that Carra, more then any other person at the club, is seen as the fans man on the pitch and to fuck with him is to step on a landmine. Cara is untouchable.

I think this is a great move and could really start the "sell up" campaign from the inside.

Well done Carra. The term Liverpool legend is bandied about for any old ex-pro these days, but he truly is in that top echelon of 7 or 8 that are REAL Liverpool legends.

That's awesome from Carra, very brave and just solidifies his position as a legend.

Mini Carras - ace, sign them up.
