It's all very well people saying the players should keep out of it, but they're the only ones who can turn the screw with the vast majority of fans who don't come on these boards and don't know what's really going on.

Once rspected players start coming out against the owners there's really no going back for them, although the players themselves are playing a dangerous game when they'd just be within their rights to sit back and pick up their wages.

The fact this is on the Liverpool sites means it'll be in the press within days. The press will just make up what they want as it's not hard to put 1 + 1 together here. Carra was at an SOS meeting = Carra wants the Americans out. I think this is very smart however. Carra can just say that he was at a party with Liverpool fans and was there to discuss their grievances as Vice Captain.
