Reina left Barca to join us. But really that isn't the point - you said Barca & Madrid were bigger than us to the Spanish. (Another made up fact) but that simply isn't the case.
Edit: forget this just seen the other posts.

If and when we get that ground you will see how big we are. We are bigger than most but when we realise our potential no one will come near.

Successive boards let us down when they didnt get on to it and subsequently we are in the mess we find ourselves in now.

Serves him right, I'd want the same if a player at Anfield told Gerrard to leave.

Patrik Berger rules. Still my favourite red from Roy's time as manager.

A bit OTT if you ask me, but o'neil was probably looking to offload Paddy anyway, and Paddy gave him a reason.

Yeah mine to, after Robbie.

Pissing myself at Rash getting all uppity as Paddy pushes Barry towards Anfield.

Still not as funny as him using the treatment of that "leaky freak" as a stick with which to beat Rafa with.

Paddy's days were numbered once he utter those words. But good on him. Once a Red, always a Red.

Fuck off O'Neill, you absolute thundercunt. You horrible, snidey, long-ball, prancing, overrated, overrhyped bespectacled thick, humourless twat. I fucking HATE him. All I can say is that the truth hurts.

PATRIK BERGER, LA LA LA LA LA LA LA

I now want us to sign Barry more than ever.

I want us to sort out Agent Paddy, just for the sake of it - but only after we signed Barry.

Don't know you know.

I was beginning to agree with that sentiment however, I sat back and thought about it and how would I feel if it was my team and my star player.

So I put myself in Footy Manager mode and thought about how I would deal with it. If the player was in contract I would fine him and place him on the transfer list. If it his contract was expiring at the end of the season like Berger's is, then I would not renew it, simply for unprofessional behaviour.

As much I agree Berger is ace for his comments and once again an ex player who is starting to show what it meant to play for us in their careers, I can totally understand and appreciate O'Niell's stance on it. I would expect Rafa or any other manager to do the same.
