Re: Liverpool v Man City
Typical end of season game and its a bit unfair to criticise because of the that, nobody looks arsed.

Re: Liverpool v Man City
Not a bad first half considering there's absolutely nothing riding on it.
Babel has been the pick for me, looked very dangerous and I agree with whoever said earlier that the kid is going to be a star. Only an exceptional save from Hart prevented Gerrard scoring and we've looked reasonably comfortable and Insua doesn't look out of his depth.
The new kit is nice too.

It`s been no worse than Mascheranos, Gerrards or any of the others out on this field in the first half.

Re: Liverpool v Man City
Lucas has been awful. Typefied by that moment when he couldn't even be arsed chasing after a ball he was favourite for. If his last few performances are anything to go by, he's not Liverpool class.
Torres looks a passenger today. He's clearly not fit, and why he was rushed back from injury for a meaningless match like this is a real mystery. All I can think of is that the kit manufacturers wanted some action shots of him wearing the new strip for publicity purposes.

That has been the highlight for me. It looks so much better on for real, than on a hanger.
Its hard for the players to find the aggression after the dissapointment of last wednesday, but it`s the last home match of the season and they should try their best to give our fans a nice send off.

He thought the ref had blown, so did many other players. Think he's been one of our better players.

The one in the corner? He thought the whistle had gone, not to do with not being arsed.
He's been OK - no one has really done much of note.

Re: Liverpool v Man City
Lucas and Insua have both been poor and would be nice to see players with a point to prove do well in these games even if the rest of the team can't be arsed. There is the 2nd half to go so let's not get on their backs just yet. Is it me or does Insua look like he is carrying a bit of weight?

Ah, so he's not lazy then - just dumb.
It's absolutely frightening that at this level, there are players who still haven't learnt to play to the whistle. How on earth are we coaching them?!

The one were he was closing down Vassell.
Hopefully he'll be off for Alonso asap.

You mean the one where he won the ball then did a ''Didi'' and got a freekick, what the fuck was wrong with that in all fairness?

He blew an imaginary whistle to someone just after to explain, so maybe someone in the crowd whistled/blew a whistle.
Bit harsh criticising him for that.
