King Luis anyone?
Another rumour, i know, but has been mentioned on another site(cough RAOTL, cough) that Luis wants back. Not gone to well for him in Madrid and has kept contact with Rafa about proving his fitness after his knee injury.
Possible fee of about 2 million. Not sure about anyone else but have no problem with King Luis coming back whatsoever. |

Should this be on the "Silly season" thread?

If they want to move it, fine.
Would love it though if it wasn't just a shite rumour though. |

Re: King Luis anyone?
Hard to see him cope, but I'd love it for the sake of it. Just like Fowler mk II.

Re: King Luis anyone?
It would save the La Bamba song as well if Xabi leaves. Move Torres into Xabi's position and put Luis back where he was.
Bring him home Rafa! |

Re: King Luis anyone?
Would do my head in. He's a liability that we don't need.
Please spend your money on top notch Mr Benitez even if its one player.

Re: King Luis anyone?
Sorry dont agree with that 'never go back' mantra. I know many people including myself who've gone back to work for the same organisation two, three, four or more times!
If he's fit enough, he's good enough. Would welcome him back tbh. |

Re: King Luis anyone?
I agree with that, but for £2m I'd still have Garcia back as this formation suits him better than the 442 we played when he was here.

I'd like Mr Barry and Mr Anelka

Re: King Luis anyone?
Anelka won't dislodge anyone though, even if we could get him which we obviously won't be able to. If we played 442, he'd fit in, but in the formation we play now he's not ideal as his best role would be the one occupied by Torres.

Re: King Luis anyone?
Thats why I would play 442

Re: King Luis anyone?
no, we need better players than Luis. Love him though.

Re: King Luis anyone?
Torres certainly needs better support up front particularly against better opposition, but I think he would be better suited to partnering a Litmanen type forward than an Anelka.

Re: King Luis anyone?
Yeah, but clearly thats not what we will be doing, so with that in mind, who would you sign?
