Cardiff manager Dave Jones says Robbie Fowler and Paul Parry may play in the FA Cup final, even if they miss the last league game of the season.

"It depends how they look, whether that experience is needed in camp," he said.

Fowler has been out since December with a hip injury, with Parry's hamstring sidelining him for six weeks.

Both could feature in Sunday's visit of Barnsley to Ninian Park, but even if they do not they could line up against Portsmouth at Wembley on 17 May.

The first cup final I ever went to was the worthington cup final in the 01/02 season against Birmingham, when Fowler scored a cracking goal, and we won on pens when Johnson missed the decisive pen.

Personally would love to see Cardiff do it and to see Robbie in the squad and on the pitch celebrating would be ace. Portsmouth have gambled their whole season on winning the cup. They've been cack in the league since the semis but cos 'Arry hasn't got a large enough squad to rest players no one gives a toss that they've been walking around the pitch trying not to get injured. Should've had that European place well sown up by now but instead they've finished bottom of that desperately poor "league within a league".

just finished reading robbies autobiography.i know he gets someone else to write it for him but is quite an eye opener.houllier and thommo come across as a pair of gobshites in some ways,anyway,i for one would be made up if robbie gets a game and i hope he scores a hat trick.one of the best players i have watched at anfield.

Its suggested he'd be in the squad for Saturday. If he's fit enough to be in the squad, with his pedigree he must be ok for the bench and surely he'd be able to give them 30 mins or so?
