Ben Arfa is amazing!

Although watching that, a double swoop for Ben Arfa and Benzema wouldn't go amiss. Surely we've got £40m to spare?!!

Seriously though, they both look great in the French league. I just don't think I'd ever be stupidly excited about a signing from that league ever again.

I think things could be different for him at Liverpool, with Rafa and all the Spanish players. They“d make him feel at home.

If Bentley is 15m, then I agree that Young is, or should be of equivalent value. In reality both players are worth about 8m, but such is the way of the world and such is the premium you have to pay for 'talent' and 'English talent' thats the going rate.
Even for an English player, I think he's worth £15m.
Obvoiusly I rate him highly and think he'd be a revelation with better players round him.

You've mentioned 10 players there out of 48 signed by Rafa, not even all of those are rugular starters. I know he's signed loads of young players for low fees but the next one of those to establish a regular first team place will be the first.

<sigh> Currently, he is AT home, and doing nothing, so how is 'feeling' at home, but being elsewhere going to improve him any? He was losing it before he moved from Arsenal.

I might be wrong but I think he's just another football manager legend and will end up at Spurs or Newcastle for some inmflated fee.
Believe me, Ben Arfa and Benzema are the real deal. They will be huge stars in the years to come.

I hate Young, whiney diving little cunt. Reminds me of Ashley Cole.

He'll make it though. It's the same reason I was never worried Torres would make it here; he has absolutely everything. We'll never get him as cheap as Torres though, that really was a masterstroke by Rafa/Parry.

Re: This Magical Wide Player

I've seen some really interesting suggestions here. Although not the magical wide player we are discussing here I've heard it's nailed on (yes that old chestnut) that Robbie Keane will be coming. He can operate from the right as well can't he?

Yep and Id love Rafa to buy someone who isnt good enough who turns to be out as good as Torres,

Someone like Valencia might be or might not be that player
