Re: Jermaine Pennant

Another thing I like about Pennant, the interview he did after the game on Saturday.

Interviewer: "There seem to be two Liverpool teams at the moment, a first choice and a second choice. Which one do you belong to?"

JP: "Hopefully both"

Good answer son.

Spot on DS.

Tevez will cost them £30m if they decide to make his deal permenant at the end of the season which I see no reason why they wouldn't.. £30m+£12m+£28m = £70m

But you knew that already and stating Tevez's fee as £5m only serves to fit your agenda (whtever that might be today), rather than using the actually £30m price tag which Utd will have to pay in a couple of months.

If Tevez cost them £5m a season, then Torres is costing us the same or probably less (£20m over five years). Same with Mascherano, who is costing even less than that. Doesn't suit his agenda though as you said.

Also, can people please stop quoting him as it's ruining the forum for those who have him on ignore.

I'd start with Pennant instead of Babel on Wednesday, especially since the Rent Boys will sit back and defend like fuck. Babel's still a better impact player than a starter and good performances like Pennant's on Saturday should be rewarded.

Babbel was great last time we played them at the bridge in the cup.

Holy fuck Rashid, you are taking fact twisting to a new level. You'll happily quote 17 for mascher which they say includes wages and you'll have Tevez as costing 5.

I liked the fact that he showed a bit of warmth and humour. He seemed far less up himself than he ever has before. It was good to see.

Yes to that Paul and it was as Dave said, a great reply to in my opinion a cheeky question.
All said and done the one thing Pennant will never do is be a goal threat and a top class winger needs to be.
I think we paid for what we got a half decent player.

Re: Jermaine Pennant

I think we should keep him, as he is a useful squad player and is different to any other option we have. Don't agree personally about the CL final last year though, he got into many good positions and was very positive, however his final ball was really poor...and there is no point getting into those positions if you then fail to capitalise on it. Besides that, has a good attitude and should be kept, as he should only improve with good coaching.

At no point have I ever said such shite. Rashid knows I dont agree with his views and we all get on with it but when have I ever said, "he would be the asian lad getting kicked about at aways" ?

Cheers navbasi for making the point.

Not some of your best comments like.

Nothing about away games though.

Sorry of it comes across that I am backing RedHorse, but you were a little too aggressive towards Rash in a way that Redhorse could manipulate what you said and make already bad comments worse.

No, not at all mate.

Apologies if it came across like that, wasn't sure if you had gone back to the start of the thread.

It is the agenda of theRedHorse to use the racism card on here at any given opportunity. No matter who it is. I had a feeling you had apologised, but that won't matter to him.

I reckon your a top poster, sorry if you felt I was noting everything what you say. My bad.

Someone linked to that old thread earlier in this thread to point out that Rash was talking bollocks about something or other.

Re: Jermaine Pennant

Whilst I appreciate people sticking up for me, if we all stopped "sticking up for eachother", rounding on people collectively and just concentrated on talking/arguing/debating or whatever as mates then we would't have any issues on here. Just a thought.

I've got no problem with 5times even if I am scared to come out of my house.
