Maureen: Riise own goal "poetic justice"

Soz if this has been posted, saw it on ITV text and couldn't fucking believe it, a new low even for this classless piece of absolute shit.

Quote:
Jose Mourinho has described John Arne Riise’s own goal for Liverpool against Chelsea in the Champions League semi-final as poetic justice in action – but he insists the outcome of the tie is still 50-50.

Riise’s 95th-minute howler in Tuesday night’s first leg at Anfield handed the Blues a 1-1 draw, with many observers now making them favourites to reach next month’s final.

Mourinho, who was Chelsea boss for more than three years until September, lost two Champions League semi-finals at Anfield and is still bitter about the first of them in 2005.

Liverpool won 1-0 on aggregate that day thanks to a Luis Garcia strike in front of the Kop which Mourinho dubbed “a ghost goal” because the ball did not cross the line.

The Portuguese, set to return to management this summer after taking a sabbatical following his departure from Stamford Bridge, said of the 2005 semi-final: “I don’t remember only the good moments. I also remember the bad ones, and that semi-final, which was 1-0 with a ghost goal was a bad moment.

“At this moment, I can laugh about it.”

Of Riise’s calamity in front of Kop end, he added: “It was in exactly the same goal, the same goal with that incredible – I love it – good crowd Liverpool has in the Kop.

“I think it’s fair. They were lucky that time (in 2005), Liverpool, and Chelsea were lucky this time.”

Mourinho believes a 1-0 defeat for Chelsea would have left Liverpool holding all the aces, but he warned his former club not to assume a 1-1 draw puts them in the driving seat.

“It’s a completely different result, 1-0 or 1-1,” he said on BBC Radio Five Live.

“I’m not a man of percentages but I think it’s still 50-50.

“I don’t think it’s a big advantage. Big clubs, big teams, big players, with their hearts and their emotions ready to play this kind of match, it’s not a, big, big difference.”

Re: Maureen: Riise own goal "poetic justice"

It totally pisses me off this 'ghost goal' shyte. No one ever seems to mention if the goal hadn't been given, that Cech should have been sent off and us awarded a pen.

That would have made it 10 man chavs for virtually 86 fecking minutes even if we'd have missed the resultant penalty.

Re: Maureen: Riise own goal "poetic justice"

Never been proven it wasn't over the line, if it wasn't then we would of had a pen and Cech would have been sent off, who gives a fuck anyway, it only makes it funnier, etc, etc.

Overall message = Fuck you Mourinho, you crying prick. If you can't stand being out of the media spotlight for more than 10 minutes then replace Ian Wright as the resident cunt on the BBC's panel for In-ger-land games. Free blow jobs from Gary Linekar are included in the pay package I believe.

His mates in the press wouldn't press him on that because they were worried he'd throw a strop and not speak to them.

I've got over my disappointment about Tuesday and I can't wait for next week now, just hearing shit like that will make so much sweeter if we do knock them out.

Or that if cech hadn't taken luis down it would have been walked in. Jose really is a dick.

Re: Maureen: Riise own goal "poetic justice"

Poetic justice will be when we knock the cunt out of a semi final with a goal that no-one is certain crosses the line at his next club as well. Sad, scruffy, shitcoat twat.

Not 86 mins mate. 92 if ya count the extra six that were added on. Ghost goal! What about those Ghost six minutes! Fuck up José. Whatta knobend. Beaten twice by a better side and ultimately a better manager. People say "look what José did at Porto, winning the CL with them". Ino my opinion their Porto team was better than the team Rafa inherited from GH. Rafa is a genius who showed José up twice on the big stage just like he will show Avram up next week.

To think some people on this very forum liked him!

An oxygen thief is what he is; if he ever comes near my club I'll expunge him.

I wouldn't mind, if Rafa was to leave I'd rather have a controversial figurehead who wins trophies than a man with dignity who doesn't.
